Dyfodol y Ddraig is a bi-lingual Youth Forum in Wales for young women between 16 and 25. Our county has two representatives on the committee who represent the county’s girls. They discuss issues facing young women involved in Girlguiding and in everyday life of girls in today’s society, for example violence against women, gender discrimination, and specific Welsh issues. The committee meet twice a year for a brainstorming weekends at Broneirion usually.
Caernarfonshire do have a Junior Council Facebook group to keep in contact and try to meet to get the views of the county’s girls. We currently unfortunately don’t have any reps on the committee but will be working hard to get girls involved in this wonderful opportunity. If you want any more information contact Sera Roberts (See contacts page for e-mail) and she will help with any queries.
